As an 8th grade honor student I know that the best way to deal with bullying is to try to ignore it. If the bullying continues you should tell an authority figure at the school, camp or wherever you are. As soon as you feel you are being bullied the best person to tell is your parent or guardian. They can help you almost right away. I used to be bullied in school all the time but now i have a ton of friends who will stick up for me. Remember, don't even show a sign of reaction to the bully. That will make it worse. Thank you for your time.
I would think that by telling on them, they would likely become all the more bothersome. They would say you were the teacher's pet or something like that. By relying on adults to solve your problems with other kids, you would give them even more reason to disrespect you.
I myself could never ignore their teasing, & usually gave them what they sought: I cried. But occasionally, I fought them. I always lost, as it was my one fist against each of their two, & they, having more in common with each other, than with me because I was crippled, ganged up on me.
I advise that you ignore their words as best you can, knowing that they tease you in order to relieve their own insecurities. I was teased by many, but 1 in particular was the youngest of 3 boys, and was himself teased by his elder brothers. When his face was injured & severely distorted, he threatened me, saying that I had better not say anything about his face. Although it did not occur to me at the time, as I really did want to hurl taunts at him the way he had done to me, I now release that his threat was literally the same as his admitting that he could not endure teasing. He might have cried just as I had, & he could not bear the thought of breaking down and crying in front of those whom he made cry with his own cruelties. :d evil:
