I kind of like it... I mean, it isn't THAT bad. Not compared to the Disney Channel BS. I'd rather watch Gumball than Fish Hooks or Wizards Of Waverly Place. Besides, I'm a total sucker for kitties and Gumball is a cat... :< Anyway, the Disney Channel shouldn't even have the name DISNEY on it. DISNEY entails Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck shorts, House Of Mouse, Disney movies every night, Winnie The Pooh and maybe something like Bongo The Circus Bear, too!

I thought Gumball was an otter since he looked like Oshwott from Pokemon White for a while.

The different animation styles do sort of make it distracting and look dumb on the first glance, but when you watch the actual episodes , it actually pulls it off well, especially the T-Rex episode being like a Jurassic Park parody.

Disney is basically anything that isn't foreign , WB or NBC, meaning they could put anything on it, but they choose not to. It's not just those old things, but they've expanded to the range of Nick for better or worse. They don't have many things going for it since they cancel most of their great shows and don't do much. Lately they just make **** that isn't animated or good.

CN has limited live action programming and a few hits , but their base is anime obviously.

Nickelodeon was all out animation until 4 years ago but even now its becoming better. Now if only they can put the Nicktoons-exclusive programming like Speed Racer and Voltron and Ironman onto the main network. Pretty much the premier place for animated content other than CN ,which both get the get the best and innovative stuff in synchronization. If Nick passes on it , CN gets it and makes it awesome in the case of Adventure Time.

If anyone here loves Tezuka animation, anime , the Neverending Story, or any fantasy series from the 80's , you'll love AT at it gives it justice. It follows many genres and the Va for Starfire is Bubblegum while Simpsons' alumni Hank Azaria is Jake.

Regular Show? :w00t:

Yeah. Our old stand-by cartoon networks aren't what they used to be. I'll admit. Now, if you wanna take it way back watch the really good stuff, stuff like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Quest, Wacky Racers..etc...you have to have Boomerang. Which is the new network where CN put's it's old shows. And a place I tune into even more religiously than I do Turner Classic Movies and AMC. lol And Nickelodeon I'm sorry to say..I don't think will ever be the same again. Disney either. I don't even really think Disney make's much money from it's network anymore. I think a lot of the majority of it comes from the movies the make. "Tangled".."How To Train Your Dragon".."Pirates or the Carribean"..etc. It's really sad. :/ They have the power and the advertising force to do more..but it seems like they just don't want to for some odd reason. And this is like the perfect time! A lot of people are feeling down and out and want entertainment. A distraction. Seems like the only that stands even a remote chance of winning the battle of the Networks is CN. At least they've got some good shows, and have made an effort to keep their older fan base. I.E...Boomerang and Adultswim.

The problem with Boomerang is that its hard to get. Nick kinda blows which I agree with since some of its original and licensed programming is on its Boomerang called Nicktoons when it would give new life to its mother network. There's nothing on Disney any longer tha is captivating. If you are a creator you might as well go to Nick or CN since they are having their Medieval Chinese moment right now of stagnation if you are not going to do any films. Between Nick and CN, they have a shared creative force (Frederator) which can bounce shows to one or the other while both main studios for the networks are developing relatively decent shows on their own. Avatar, TUFF Puppy, Fanboy, El Tigre ,Danny Phantom are on Nick while Young Justice , Regular Show , Ben 10: Ultimate Alien,Generator Rex, Regular Show , The Amazing World of Gumball, Thundercats are on CN.

You really don't need Disney with these two powerhouses.
