Wow, that's exactly what I would do. Why would anyone even want to dig through to look for one blue when you can make live easier and just pour it all out? I guess it's just the mindframe of a lefty.

No, I've only played a few times in the street as a kid. I've never played golf either, only mini putt, I was just trying to simplify my examples of sports involving sticks. :p

"Astro Boy8629" wrote:Let me guess, your best side is you're right side, right? When skating, do you feel more comfortable making a right turn or left? It's right for me (which is a lefty thing), but every ice rink has us turn left. So if I have too much speed, there's a good chance that I'll lose my balance when turning left, which I have already done several times :d oh:

Yes, skating forward clockwise is more comfortable, or at least it used to be on ice skates, because through the years I've practiced both sides enough that I have a hard time telling which side is my best now. I'm probably still better clockwise on rollerblades however. While doing backward crossovers, I feel better turning counter clockwise.

My rink changes direction every 20 minutes in free skating sessions. :D At least, unlike most people, you are forced to practice your weakest side, which is not necessarily a bad thing because in theory that's what we should all do. ;) I imagine it must be a bit frustrating though. Personally I hate when there is no direction change, because the muscles involved are obviously not the same in turning right or left.

"Astronomical girl" wrote:I hav never used my left to use a mouse  mainly becuase I never saw the need :p .

I put the mouse to the right, but really I should learn to use it to the left. It's better because the numeric pad is to the right of the keyboard, so if one puts the mouse to the left, the left hand does not have to be away from the body as when it is with the mouse to the right. If one spends a lot of time at work and then at home on a computer, it can help prevent wrist problems (which I've had in the past). I guess an alternative solution would be buying a keybord on which the numeric pad isn't incorporated with the rest of the keyboard but can be moved around.

"Astronomical girl" wrote:also studies suggest that left handed people think outside the box take a bowl of popcorn and one popcorn is blue, right handed people would pick up the box and look while left dumps and finds the blue popcorn... What does that tell you?

  Not much I guess...

I use trackballs; my newest one is sculpted for right-handed use exclusively.
