I for 1, do not think so. It is fallacious to argue from the particular to the general; that is what one does if one argues that because this particular well had a leak that all wells will leak. Besides that, experience has already proven this false. As far as deep water rigs go, yes, these are inherently more troublesome than shallow water wells; but the designs ought to take this into consideration.

I'm heart sick.

A friend of my wife and I who had retired from the Navy and gone home to work in a shell fishery started by his grandfather has no job now...they had to close.

I don't know if I should be angry or outright **ssed and the object of my anger direction isn't BP.

It's been seventy plus days since this madness began and only now are "certain idiots of higher authority" getting off their labor union kissing keisters to do something?

Heads need to roll and by roll I mean impeachment, arrest, removal and prison.

How can a nation who put man on the moon, cured smallpox and polio, fought two titanic wars on two fronts be so incapable of mobilization against this horrific disaster? What the hell has happened to my country?!

I'm angry, sick and horrified. If any American politician tries to stand in the way of honest help from other nations for any reason? That SOB should be removed by the people.
