Now i am on broadband I seem to be sitting here a lot more often, so its time to try this again. I cannot use ICQ because it simply refuses to work on my machine and I refuse to use MSN because of its appauling forced integration. That leaves me with Yahoo, which is listed above.

If I ever work out how to get ICQ working properly I will install that again tho, as when it did work, it was functionally much better than any of the others.

Try a program called Trillian.

Tried it. Several times. As with most software that tries several things it is craptacular. Constant freezez, lack of control, poor visual design, an-necessary additional rubbish (bloatware) incorporated into it etc.. Yahoo doesnt even work thru it withought a patch or plugin.

Trillian is not worth the headache to me.

got ICQ working on a buddy's PC. THe guy I do School Spirit with. I am here usually once a month-ish for several days at a time, so while I am here I can harass anyone over ICQ if they are brave or stupid enough to message me.
