Mark Knopfler has always been one of my favourite guitarists, as leader of his ex-band Dire Straits as well as a solo musician.
His newest solo album 'Shangri-La' has just been released, including this beautiful single:
B)
Boom, Like That

He's one of those guitarists which seem to grow better by every output, not necessarily better concerning guitar playing technique, but definately in regarding to songwriting and to convey a sort of relaxed mood throughout his songs.

Have a listen to his new single, I think it's great! :)

Alright, seemingly no-one here has heard of Mark Knopfler yet, but what does anybody think about his new single?

PLeeeaaassee, just one small opinion.

Otherwise, vous me pouvez souffler dans le derrière!

Hmmm... Nothing to say about Mark Knopfler, sorry.
However I have something to say about your poor French grammar :P You should have written "vous pouvez me souffler dans le derrière!" ;)
I feel like a kind of French Jeffbert after that :D

How dare you use the term "French Jeffbert"! There is only one Jeffbert, & I am he*. There are other people who make themselves annoying by correcting other people's grammar, though. BTW, my grammar had been very poor, I had even delighted in using the worst immaginable grammar just to irk my mother. However, after having heard G. Gorrdon Liddy on the radio, I determined to improve myself. While I still cannot diagram a sentence, I do knows good or bad grammar when I sees it. :D

As for this artist, I only have oldies, classical, classic rock, & talk radio on my preset stations. So, I have heard Dire Straits (& liked its music), but cannot recall ever hearing of this guy.

*However, I do belive that there are some "jeffbert@" email addresses, note that my email address is not one of them. Why? because once I had thought up this name, I went to yahoo only to find that some usurper had already taken that name! The nerve of that guy! :D :P

That's why I put "kind of" :P

However I happened to think the litteral translation in Spanish is ok ;)
