Hey i was looking around in Ezy DVD and found they were selling Kimba the white lion eps cheap. $5 and it comes with 4 eps and a couple extras. Anyway I'm interested to know how many series of kimba there have been. This one is actually in colour but i don't know if there was a black and white one b4 it.
Anyway i think it was a good find and i'll proberly be picking some more up soon too.
Kimba the white lion DVD
The entire 1st season is available in both individual discs (altough I only see discs 1 & 2 of 4 sold separately), & as a set.
4 discs to the set, best price I can find of the genuine region 1 is at Digital eyes = $35.

For my fellow Aussies who do not choose to order their products from overseas, or who are unable to do so, I supply this little chestnut off the Madman site.

I pray those releases are going to happen. The Kimba set by Rhino is OK at best. It really looks pretty horrible, and I wonder if Madman reissues it that they'll either clean it up or better yet, give us unedited episodes with Japanese subtitles. Even better would simply be the release of all the episodes--Rhino's set only has half of them. Basically there are so many ways that Madman can do a better job with this release than Rhino did I have to assume I'll be repurchasing it when they put it out.
And holy crap, I assume Space Firebird is some installment of Tezuka's Phoenix, never mind original 60's Astro. W00t indeed!
