Yeah, about 20 years old. There were originally two series, one was basically like Transformers (with lots of vehicles that joined to make a huge robot), and the other was like Transformers meets Zoids (with five robot lions that joined to make a huge robot).

And he had a BIG sword.

I saw the original first episode again recently, and it was a lot worse than I remembered.
I keep forgetting that Astroboy was incredibly high quality for its time and it's easy for other shows not to match up.

Anyway, it appears Robot Chicken has been animated from Voltron figurines. Very funny!

OMG! This is the funniest thing I have seen recently. "Robot Chicken" is a very misleading title, I saw no chicken between the opening and closing credits. "Naughty Fun with Action Figures" seems like a far more appropriate title; GI Joe, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and others contributed to the fun. :lol:

Most definitely not for the kiddies, though.
