AWESOME! B)
(although that clip wasn't relevant, that was John Pertwee. Here's the teaser trailer)

They've been repeating the entire series here in Australia since 2003. In prime time, no less. They're up to Tom Baker now (my fav) and they're still not even half way through.
It's so good to hear they're going ahead with a new series. Although the old special effects are crap by today's standards, they were great for their time so I hope they put in as much effort with the new series. You know, like Star Trek quality special effects. Good that they're keeping the classic Tardis effect.

Anyone still trying to forget that AMERICAN attempt at a Dr. Who remake???

Still, I'd be thrilled to see the real Dr. Who back...

I watched this last night and really enjoyed it. This new Doctor is more funny, the plot annoyed me a little (what with Rose heading most of this episode, she got too emotional at points for me). The Doctor should have had more time this episode to establish himself, rather than just waking up 20-15 minutes before the end.
