Recently I went watching 'Ring Two' (US version), and honestly said, I was disappointed.
This sequel features only 2 or 3 thrilling scenes, the story is built up to much on mother/son situations and is unnecessarily torn into length. On the positive side, the sound's and visual's effects are well made, but still not as striking as they are in the first Ring.
What I find most disappointing: The origin of the ominous VHS tape still is unknown, still no clue who taped it and the most vision's meanings still are unsolved.
This sequel is merely a teaser for a possible 'Ring III', nothing more.
Anyway, one thing makes me wonder: Why do they use a VHS tape instead of a DVD-R?
Because of region play matters?
