Hello everybody! I just decided to write this because I haven't benn here for a long time, but also that I am going to a costume contest with my friend. I am going as Astro and she is going as Uran. Does anybody have any ideas for us?

Someone posted a picture of an Astroboy costume ages ago. It was made from foam padding, with coloured vinyl wrapped over the top for the boots and pants and belt. The head was paper mache.
It looked great!

Wow. That's cool. I'll send pictures from that event for sure. My father and I made the boots yesterday... They still aren't done, but they, as with everything else, will be by tonight. ^_^

Hello! I'm back again! The contest was really fun. I am happy to announce that I won runner-up out of about 30 people. Hi Astro forever! I don't think we've met!
Oh, and by the way, did you make the Tenma rules! thing? That's cool. B) I am also wondering if someone can help me with my avatar, it's a picture I drew of my cartoon self. Other new news; I began writing an Astro Boy fan fiction story (And I think SOMEONE may like it! :huh: )

Yes, I made it. He was my favorite character of the 2003 series, even above Astro himself. What kind of help do you need for your avatar?

Well, I have tried to put my avatar online but I have a few problems, One, my avatar is too big, and two, I am confused by the instructions. I would like to put it online, but I'm not as good with that kind of stuff as I'd like to be. If someone can help with that, I can E-Mail it to whoever posts their adress for that reason. I can't put the pictures online right now because they have been stored on my father's work computer, which takes forever to hook up to the internet. (It's new, but it's hard to find the DSL jack.)
I actually discoverd Astro Boy in my advanced language arts class when we were told to find twenty books that we would like to read. I looked in manga, and saw Osamu Tezuka's name as a link. I really did think something along the lines of "How many mangas did this Tezuka guy make?" I had heard of Astro Boy before when I saw some toys in Target a long time ago. Anyways, one night I had nothing to read, so my mother took me to Borders book store and I bought the first manga. Too bad for me, it was a school night, because I stayed up all night reading it! About a month later I found out about the series when I bought the PS2 game. Of course, I was very confused by Astro calling Dr. Ochanomizu by the name of Dr. Oshay, but I guess I got over it.
If you are wondering how old I actually am, I'm only 13!
I'll post the fan fiction story online soon. First I have to email it to myself, though.
And another thing, Astro forever, I could see why you'd like Dr. Tenma more than Astro. He was a whole lot cuter in the Japanese version!
