One Million-year Trip: Bander Book, Tezuka site.

Another French dubbed tv special, this one was weird, very weird. I guess the creatures it contained were the weirdest things in it, but it had a few sequences that I could not even begin to understand. Note that I do not speak French.

It did have some very funny physical humor, & I reccomend it for that alone. Find it on anapan's server, under this title:

Le Prince du Soleil FR (Tezuka) - Rip DVD_son VHS - Par Kristoff_Moonchild_Chrix.avi

I think Tezuka drew some inspiration from the 1st (4th) Star Wars film, because Black Jack seems cast in a Darth Vader role, complete with Storm Troopers:

He even has some type of electronic equipment on his chest.

Ooops, I had downloaded it but got rid of it since for some reason the beginning didn't seem appealing to me (but I guess it must be to a boy/man if I remember correctly though! ;) ).

I guess I'll download it again... when Anapan's server will be up again! :)

This looks like a serious error to me :o Most probably Anapan let is dynns account expire, it won't go back to normal alone :( I hope Anapan is aware of the problem.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Really? Isn't it just because he hasn't put it back since the flood?

Maybe the 2 events are linked, but the name isn't linked anymore to an IP address. Even if the computer is disconnected, the name is still linked to an IP address, albeit an invalid one (pointing either to the wrong computer or no computer at all). In the present case there is not even an IP address.
Do someone managed to connect to Anapan's server since the flood?

My computer's not online yet (I'm using my brother's computer right now through wireless as it's superior) and so my dyndns updater program hasn't kept the service going. Guess my account at dyndns is gone and I'll have to sign up again. The contractors that are repairing the basement are taking alot longer then they estimated due to lack of manpower. The latest estimate is 3 more weeks. I might take a job that's available right now for 2-4 weeks so my best estimate now is a month before my server's going again. Nothing serious, but annoying none the less. I didn't realize it but alot of my other accounts are being used too. I've been getting emails from people I haven't talked to for over a year that can't connect to my computer :P

I'm glad to hear that nothing is seriously wrong! :) Let me tell you how much I appreciate your service (and fafner's too, but I think that he knows it since I called him "god")! It was so great to be able to watch Astroboy again this past April when I came here and my heart was pumping because I could finally talk about and watch the 80s series again!!! :o :wahah: Never thought it would ever happened again in my life... I probably wouldn't have bought the DVDs either otherwise! :)

Jeffbert, I've started watching this. If there is anything you hadn't understood and wish to, just ask. :) I have to say that I'm glad you posted this, because I had stopped watching it after a few minutes the first time, but I'm enjoying myself so far! :)

Oh, and it's sooooo great to hear those voices again! :wahah: I've never watched this before but I did hear the cast in many of my favorite childhood cartoons, and it brings back so many good memories! :D

I will keep it simple & ask about the exchange between the main character & the 3 eyed-one (sorry I cannot recall his real name) in the dungeon. What were they saying?
