I remember Tenessee Tuxedo, & his sidekick, Chumly.

Regarding the shoe-phone, I saw a show on one of the Discovery channels about TV spy gadgets. The funny thing was, that the KGB or was it the CIA was (supposedly) considering building their own cone of silence, & a few other things that were intentionally so stupid & awkward, that they were gags, rather than serious equipment. These real spies wanted 'secrets' from the TV prop guys (or so they claimed).

Anybody remember The Don Adams Screen Test?

I enjoyed his Screen Test show, watching amature off the street people reprise famous movie scenes was hillarious.
