I know it's a bit early for Christmas stuff, but here's a joke.

Santa was very upset. It was Christmas Eve and NOTHING was going right!

Mrs. Claus had burned all the cookies. The elves were complaining about not getting paid for the overtime they had while making the toys. The reindeer had been drinking all afternoon and were dead drunk. To make matters worse, they had taken the sleigh out for a spin earlier in the day and had crashed it into a tree.

Santa was furious. "I can't believe it! I've got to deliver millions of presents all over the world in just a few hours and all of my reindeer are drunk, the elves are on strike and I don't even have a Christmas tree!"

He continued, "And I sent that stupid Little Angel out hours ago to find a tree and he isn't even back yet! What am I going to do?"

Just then, the Little Angel opened the front door and stepped in from the snowy night, dragging a Christmas tree behind him.

He said, "Yo, fat man! Where do you want me to stick the tree this year?"

And thus the tradition of angels atop the Christmas tree came to pass........ :wahah:

It's not that early, I went to the shopping center and I've seen many Christmas items!  They used to wait at least after Halloween to get them out, but not anymore!

You guys are lucky. The seasons are opposite here in Australia so we don't get Christmas til June. :(

Do you mean that Christmas is 25th June in Australia? :o
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

It's on June 12th (don't know why it's not June 25th). We still recognise the December 25th date used in the northern hemisphere, but not properly as Christmas and and only in more recent years with so much television from the US and UK. December 26th is Boxing Day here and we get a public holiday, and this pretty much lines up with December 25th in America since we're 17 hours ahead. B)
I think the Chinese have it on a different date too (or is that New Years?).

Wow! :o I had no clue. I was sure you were celebrating Christmas without snow. I even felt for you a little because of that! ;)

Looks like I really don't know much about Australia...

But don't say we are lucky, you just had Chrismas not long ago. Here we've been waiting for 10 months! It's our turn, we deserve it! :P

Doesn't matter, it's never snowed in my city anyway. :D The coldest temperature ever recorded here (Adelaide) was -0.4°C. There are mountains in Australia where it does snow though, I've been snowboarding once interstate. I've never seen snow actually falling. :(

I'm surprised none of the other Australians here have mentioned the Christmas thing! :P

 It's beautiful, I would even say it's peaceful too when it snows.

On the other hand, I should make a trip to Adelaide in January when it's -25 and windy here... :p h34r:

Which would mean Australia is in 2006 while we are still in 2005! Unless they just hit 2005...?
