I want somebody to tell me the name of the film that was about a man who dying suddenly, had an over loyal assistant who implanted his brain in a mechanical body; thus preserving his life. However, things went bad when the poor guy, because he was physically isolated from the world of sensations, went mad and went on a rampage destroying the city. I remember near the end of the film, the guy had gone to see his little boy, who had no trouble accepting his dad in a mechanical body. But as the man had just enough sanity left to know that he did not want to live this way, went to destroy himself in the end.

This was an old B&W film, & I only thought about it after seeing an anime that had a similar situation.

Precisely the Type of projective the King Ranger would expect after the entrance of
The El Iblis D'Jinn bot into the plot.  :P
It would take an Anti Freudian to attempt such a ploy..... :P
