Sorry for the abruptness, Cybotron, but we moderators have decided that we would not allow these violations of copyrighted material to continue. I have deleted the URL from your post. This film was released on DVD by Image Entertainment, May 29, 2001. I am assuming that it is copyrighted.
Monster from Green Hell (Amazon.com)

It would be one thing to provide links to downloadable movies that are not available through legitimate means, but this is very different. Please do not post any more links to copyrighted material.

You are wrong.... This film version is netcast free of charge by movieflix from their own server. It is not restricted in anyway and this version is public domain. It is not coming from my server. The version of the film being peddled by whoever is not germain. You as a fan of these old films should know that....
This version has been free on the internet for years and years...
I had this link laying about for a number of years.....
There are several urls netcasting these films free of charge.
http://www.netbroadcaster.com/new/trickortreat/treat5.html
Nebroadcaster is one example....
You can watch this film and many more there all night free of charge.
Also I have not linked any copyrestricted stuff that I know of.
But I promise not to link anymore stuff here....

And if you fell it's wrong by all means delete it and any of the links I've posted. Thanks. And congrats on your attaining such a powerful office....

My appologies, I checked the site & along with the free movies, I found pay per view films. It seems the old B-movies are 'free.' I misjudged you. As far as I am concerned it should be okay for you to provide links to such things. :D

I ask that rather than lnking to the download itself, you link to the page that has it. This way, there will be no question about legality. :D :D

Dito! And why not me?! :p

More seriously: There's absolutely no need to get offended by that. It just so happened, and the moderating team couldn't be better (thought I'm missing Fafner in the list, but that's just me I guess). :-)

Hacker's and trollers won't now stand any chance against our defence force!

It really is my fault for using that dvd atrtwork, but it is so boffo.
Uhhhh jeffbert, someguy's use spycookies and others use players that are built in so they can get ad money. That particular url is an old treasure that only old surfers would have. I thought I would share it with the real Astroboys. It really is very old and the file is buried on some old server from movieflix. The film starts with a promo. If you had watched even 3seconds of it you would have seen it was ok. I never dreamed that you guys were not into these old free movies online. Is it possible that I or you could put the url back? ;) :) :tenma:

I clicked the new URL that you provided, & found more B-movies. I think if you identify the source ie, NetBroadcaster & give selections for the data rate, it would be much better. However, why limit it to that 1 title? there were about 6 on each page. Please also provide the link to the page itself, & tell a bit about the site itself. I personally dislike screen sizes of 1.5" by 1", so I will get the films from Blockbuster online or Netflix. I just added about 10 B-movies to my queue. :hyo:
I have no problem with restoring the URL.

How did you get it to play on Realplayer?
Your URL: http://g2.movieflix.com/ramgen/flix/hell3_b.rm
The site (whose URL you provided in your post of 7th March 2006, 11:31 PM): http://www.netbroadcaster.com/play.cgi?c=clt&l=120&f=f10376001d&nr=1&s=f

I suppose the '.rm' suffix directs it to use Realplayer, but I searched the source code for the 300Kbps link (on the NetBroadcaster page), & found nothing about 'movieflix.com'

Back at the beginning of the cyber age, most of the internet was free. We were given 14.kbps modems and 28kbps access. Later we had broadband. The surfers that were sci fi heads were given free access to urls for streaming movies. Later access was limited. Money began to be charged as more and more people came on line. Many of the guy's that built the streaming media servers set up two kinds of urls, one for the new cyber public, and one for the "Cyber Elite..."
The url that I gave you is for a free pass to watch this movie. It is not coming from netbroadcaster which uses a .wmv system but is from a Real server which only a "Real media producer" from the old days such as myself would have access to. I thought to share a saturday afternoon matinee sci fi flik with you.
There are entire archives of Sci fi and cartoons that are free public domain downloads for people that want content for their websites...
You are not a part of the circle of Content providers. So all you should be concerned with is either watching or not. I got a free pass to the movies and gave it to my friends.
Look here....http://www.archive.org/details/The_Wasp_WomenImage
Here is an archived free movie example from public domain....
I would download the film, and produce a real media version ready for streaming from my own server.....

I did some checking on the urls you provided, wondering about the two different domains as described below::

The netbroadcaster site offers free streaming video, but with a tiny 150 pixel wide screen. It also offers a selection of free films. However, the domain whose URL for streaming video of Monster from Green Hell you provide

http://g2.movieflix.com/ramgen/flix/hell3_b.rm
http://www.movieflix.com/movie_info.mfx?movie_id=113,
is a site that charges $6.99 per month for access. Check the second link to see what I mean. Note that these are entirely different domains. That is, the domain you use in your second post is netbroadcaster, that does offer a few free videos, but the domain that provides the streaming video whose url you provided in your first post, has a page for that movie. But it demands $6.99 per month.

My concern is that, although this might have once been free to watch via that domain, it does not appear that this site wants to provide it free of charge now. It may well be an oversight on their part, but I cannot assume that they are going to think likewise.
