An Introduction of Sorts

So I suppose I should formally introduce myself.
My long-time nickname is Lynny; I'm going into my senior year in highschool. I was introduced to Tezuka by a good friend (known around here as Mr Skunk?) and so over the past year or two I've ceased caring about ANYTHING else. Aside from, you know, the occasional video game.
My personal life consists of panic attacks and writing fanfiction. The latter I am very passionate about. Ive taken up Tezuka fanfiction as my main concern.
I am very fond of the 2001 movie Metropolis. Ive read some of Tezukas lone sci fi work (Lost Wold, Next World 1, Metropolis) and some Astro Boy, and most importantly some Black Jack (Black Jack being the series I care most about; I also watch a subbed anime of the same)
I have a lot of love for Tezuka. I even miss him to some degree. I believe he had a lot to share and that he did it in a beautiful way.
But the great truth is I know little about the Astro Boy phenomenon. Regardless of how much I actually like the series, I feel I need to learn more about it to better understand a great portion of the Tezuka world.
So thats my goal here - learn. I hope I can do this place justice.
