dose anyone here remember ristar,or even heard of ristar? if you dont,well.it was the one of the last megadrive/genesis games to come out,bassed on the origional concept of sonic the hedgehog (wherin sonic was a rabbit who used his streatchy ears to grab eings),you play as a little star-anthro-thing called ristar,who uses his streachy arms to grab and attack enimies,and items.sadly,he only ever got one game.of course,cause im such a big ristar fan,a fanfic was bound to come along at some point,and here it is XD.
it begins from the final fight of the first game.if you've played it,you should get it.

Prologue
Ristar was fighting long,and hard.greedy had many powers,and a huge advantage over the little star.but no matter the odds,ristar wasnt going to give up.
Ristar:Ill put and end to you,greedy!!
Greedy:ha,your just a kid!a pathetic kid who got lucky.you cant even dream of beating me!
Ristar lost it at the last remark.he was tired of hearing it from everyone in the zoran system,without any hesitaqtion,he gathered all of his strength,grabed onto greedy,and head-butted him to oblivion.the surprised tyrant feel into some electrical equipment,breaking all manner of machinery,and got stuck in the wires.rappidly he began to explode.
Ristar:haha!! Told ya Id win!!
The little star stood there with a huge grin plastered across his face.however,the explosions soon began to spread around the whole room,even the whole base,and his expression quickly turend to fear.
Ristar
h no!! Id better get out of here before I go up in flames with greedy!!
The star searched around for a star swing,panicing,until one finally appeared in the center of the room.without any hesitation,he lept onto the bar and span around faster then anything you could imagine.before finaly flinging himself out of the exploding base,leaving a sparkling trail behind him.the base exploded into a thousand tiny pieces.
This was the birth of a hero.a hero named ristar.the entire zoran system knew of his name,knew of his legacy.including a secluded evil,waiting at the ege of the galaxy.without anyone knowing of his existence.
???:im watching you,ristar.you thought greedy was a fearful force,hmph! You have yet to meet me.ill dring the galaxy to its knees.prepeare,ristar,for your undoing
His evil laugh could be heard for light years,sending chills down the spines of anyone who was unfortunate enough to hear it.
Chapter 1:
Almost a year had passed since ristar had beaten greedy.he was now living on Starturon,the planet of witch his race came from,just next to Freeon.he was living happily with his family.today was a ritch,crisp day.he was awaiting the arrival of his brother,colstar.
Colstar was ristars older brother.however,during the time of witch greedy came along to rule the solar system,ristar and his family belived colstar had been killed.they later found out that he went into hiding,to train.
You see,colstar was not very much like his sibling.ristar had what was known as the stretchy-limb power in slang terms.colstar,however,had not inherited that from his mothers side.he tried,and tried,and tried when he was young,but he could never manage to pull it off,leading to a sour jelousy of ristar.
Also awaiting colstars return was a small,pinkish-red star,urstar,colstars feiance.
Urstar:im so exited,ive been waiting a year to speak to colstar again!
Ristar:I wonder how much he has changed.a year is enough to change someone greatly,you know.i wonder if he even remembers me

h,dont be silly ristar,you dont think hed forget us,do you? Oh,oh! Look,here he comes now!
Just entering the village was a fairly tall,blue star.the tips of his points where a different,lighter color then the rest of his body,though.in a complete contrast to his body,however,his red sneakers stood out against the rest of him.a determind grin was plastered across his smug looking face.
Ristar began to wave at colstar,a happy grin on his face.
Colstar imedietly dropped the kit bag he was carrying,and began to run,directly towards a perticulerly large boulder.halfway before he reached it however,he launched himself high in the air,flipping,and brining his foot down in a quick and sharp arc,splitting the boulder in half.he then walked up to ritar and urstar.
Ristar:wow,looks like all that training paid off,huh?
Colstar:well,it wasnt easy.either way,enough about me.im really impressed with you,ristar.its been goin around for a year that you saved the zoran system from ol whats-his name ah,its not important,what is however,is that im really impressed.
Ristar blushed,almost turning as red a urstar was naturely
Ristar:aww,you dont mean that
Colstar:sure I do,I told ya that strechy-limb power would come is use some day! And its good to see you again to,urstar
Urstar ran up to colstar and hugged him rather tightly
Urstar:likewise,ive really missed you!
Colstar:*struggling to breath* if its any colsallation,I really missed you to.now,can you please stop hugging me so tight before you crush whats left of my spine!
Urstar:whoops,sorry *loosens her grip* im just so happy to see you again.
Before anything else could be said,a huge crackle of lightning and thunder split the once bright sky,making urstar jump out of her skin.
Ristar:thats odd.its not srom season yet.
Colstar:yeah.somethings fishy here,and I had a shower this morning
Urstar:I dont like this,I say we go inside..
Another fork of lightning split the sky,this time,the lightning was a threatening shade of red.the clouds seemed to ominously turn a nasty black.once they parted,the sky was a sinister pinkish-red,more pink then urstar,though.3 figures quickly appeared.2 of them appear to be star-beings,like ristar and colstar.one owever,was a dark purple,and the other a dark green,and both of them were girls.their clothes where the same as colstar and ristars,only,the yellow and the red where now grey and a light purple,also,most distinctively,they where both girls.inbetween both of them,was a tall,sleak shadow with a haunting red auora, flickering,almost flame-like hair.the only distinctive feture was his blood-red eyes.
Colstar:looks like we have a unannounced visitor
Ristar:this isnt looking good,either
The shadow rose from the flying,mechanicl chair in witch he was sitting,and spoke.

The 2 female girl star-beings giggled with sinister little smiles.
Ristar:who are you,and what do you think gives you the right to threaten us like that!!
???:thats easy,I feel I have the authoriaty to,because Im more powerful then any of you!!
He shoots a thin,red beam towards ristar,knocking him back quite a distance.as soon as he crashs however,the little star launches himself back to in front of the shadow.
Daddy evil:and my name is daddy evil!! Remember that name,ristar,because its the last name youll hear!!
The 2 female star-beings grumpily clered their necks.
Daddy evil:*sigh* and thease 2 brats behind me are peach *pointing to the tallest,dark purple female* and cream *pointing to the smaller,dark green female*
Colstar:wow,thats a bit of a let-down those names dont sound evil to me
Peach:shut up,blue boy,who said you co-
Daddy evil:SILCENCE!!
Peach looked rather scared,and shut up rather quickly.
Daddy evil:and now,to take care of you,ristar!
Daddy evil points a finger at rister,charging a bigger,more powerful beam at the surprised rister.just as he fires the beam at ristar,colstar jumps in the way
Colstar:back off,boogy man!
2 circluler auoras surround his hands,both light blue,stopping the beam in its tracks.colstar was obviously straining,as you could hear him grunting and you could see him sweating.
Colstar:heres another trick I learned during my training,psyche!! It allows me to move stuff,drag foes towards me and uncover hidden areas,and it can save us from bozos like this!!
Ristar:b-but your in pain,stop!!
Colstar:*gritting his teeth*im,fine,pe-peechy,keene.
Daddy evil on the other had,was not straining at all.
Daddy evil:*pretending to yawn* I grow tired of these futile games
He breaks the beam up,and fires another at urstar,who is to far away for colstar to reach and defend in time.a dime of the strange energy engulfs urstar,he shilluete disappearing into the blaze of the energy,her screams echoing around the rocky canyons.when the dome cleared,nothing was left of urstar,except a smoking pair of gloves.
Colstar:noooo!!!....alrgiht,NOW its personal!!
Colstar tries to jump up and attack daddy evil,but daddy evil raised a energy coverd hand and smashs colstar across the face.colstar falls to the ground and slowly slips into unconsiousness
