This is funny even without dialogs, but I bet a translation would add some value :p If I have some time I will do it.
By the way, the text in the last cell is: "Don't have bad faith: is this door closed, yes or no?"
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Here is a quick translation:

I had some troubles with "m'enfin", which is a contraction of "mais enfin", which literally means "but at last" (which doesn't really mean anything in English). I am not sure about the translation of "courant d'air" with "draught" either

Wow, good work fafner! Translations of comics is a tricky thing, it's not always easy to maintain the original language's charm. However, you did it perfectly! :)

I have the same comic strip in german, thus "m'enfin" is translated as "Was denn?!" which, in turn, literally would mean "What then?!", however the term's sense might be translated best just as "What?!" or better "What's up?!".
"Draught" for "courant d'air" seems to match best for me.

"M'enfin" is Gaston's most favourite term when he happens to be confronted with extraordinary stressful situations. :D

Thank you, Strange Wings! I have one volume of Gaston Lagaffe ("Gala de gaffes à gogo"). Somebody had given it to me as a birthday present. I don't know why I didn't look for more of Gaston because I had enjoyed it.

Thanks for the gag, I love it!

Good work with the translation, fafner! :)

:D Glad you loved it!

Do you have that one already:

I own 2 volumes of it, but they're in german translation only. I'm starting to consider whether I should buy some more volumes having the original french.
To me, Franquin's humor is second to none.

This one will require less translation, but a few more explanations, especially on the recurrent (failed) attempts to sign contracts by De Mesmaeker :p

A few words about De Mesmaeker and his contracts...
I have read almost all books of Gaston Lagaffe, but I don't really know who he is and what are on the contracts. All that I know is that he recurrently tries to sign them, and almost always fails (he succeeded at least once, but the contracts were stupidly destroyed right after that).
