I spent a while in an engineering dept, but most of those docs mean little to me. I do not see anything that actually defines the thing. Will it be fully autonomous? Will it be recon only, or have weapons? I would doubt the weapons, as it seems humans are very reluctant to give robots weapons. :astro:

They will be flown from the carrier and will be equipped with air to air and air to ground ordinance but their prime mission is intelligence.

Still the technology is frightening enough. We have come a long way since the day a hot air balloon was used in the Civil War to collect battlefield intel.

And remember the American versions of Astro Boy had him being designed as a military weapon.

What? I know the color version of I, Robot had Adam Link being redesigned for that purpose, but I do not recall Atom being militarized, even in the 2003 English-version. I guess I will watch it again. :hyo:

Yes..
I think we had this before.
I always felt Atom was built from the start as a military weapon.

As I recall, your entire argument was founded upon the fact that he had weapons in him. However, this is different from the statement that I am wondering about: that of the English language version making him a military creation. :p As I said, I presume that Dannavy85 was referring to the 2003, & I will look into that. :hyo:
