Fantastic Voyage (Special Edition)

Releases 6/7/2007, & has tons of extras.

My favorite line: "Get me outta here--Ahhhhhhh!"

Well, I watched nearly everything on the disk, & found it quite entertaining. You young people might not think much of this film, but when it was first shown, it was the most advanced sci-fi film to date.

Of particular interest to me, was the 20 minute extra that detailed how the sfx were made. Although crude by today's standards, the sfx employed some very creative methods.

The extras included 2 audio commentaries, 1 on the musical score, the other, on the film itself. BTW, there was no music until nearly 40 minutes into the film.

I do not know.

Is "Invasion of the Astro monster" King Ghidora?

Well yes. It's a great movie with Godzilla and Rodan in it also. Space ship design is the best since the Mysterians. Toho is opening up their vaults at last, and this series will be great for me. I really look forward to seeing the Japanese versions widescreen. Especially "The mysterians" because I've bought two issues now and both were awful. As far as color and sound goes. Oh and I have "The H-man" on backorder. :)
