So, what you are doing is simply close the page, then go back at the index, and you see yourself logged in at the bottom of the page, while you are in fact not logged in?
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

It depends on how your account is configured, but it looks to me that when you close your browser, you are logged out because the browser won't keep the parameters of the connection. However, the forum (on the computer located in Australia) doesn't know that you have closed your browser (it has no way to know it). So if you reopen your browser on this forum after only a few minutes, you won't be logged in, but the forum will still report you as logged in because it doesn't know your browser was closed (and doesn't know that the guest that just came is the very same person who is reported as logged in).

Indeed. Everybody can be seen on the first page for 15 minutes after their last recorded activity, unless they click on "Log Out".
