I really do not know about the creator(s) of Ghost in the Shell's purpose for the "full prosthetics" ie, the implanting of human 'ghost' in a robot (shell). What messages the story was intended to convey, etc, may be in the eyes of the beholder. My interest entirely overlooked that question.


BTW, these posts are much more appropriate as they do ask relevant questions. I only add that a bit of moderation in the number of posts is in order. Please do not let me awaken tomorrow (actually later today, because it is 12:45 am) to find the entire page is composed of your posts.

Sometimes, author(s) choose to show things in a neutral point of view, not wanting to "take side". The reader/viewer may construct an opinion based on what he/she sees. I didn't see a lot of Ghost in the Shell (only the 2 movies), but I don't remember seeing anything for or against that, only events that happen consecutively (that may be bad or not, according to what the viewer thinks).

It's like that episode where the Tachcoma is with the little girl and they are stopped by the police and the Tachicoma reveals that he was a veteran of the war whose body was destroyed and they put his brain in a tachicoma...

In the future i pray they do research that enhances the ability of the body's ability to heal itself. Even from a body that is nearly destroyed from wars and other near fatal injuries. Advanced scanning techniques with computers who scan the human body at tremendous speed using the proper nutrients, proteins and healing medicines to induce life from death. Such advanced techniques for healing a human body naturally using advanced technology is possibly within this century if people design that the human body is the most advanced life on this planet. Thanks
