hi- anybody think that the movie daryl could have been influence by astroboy. hugs- thanks- your friend tonigirl

I suppose you are talking about this D.A.R.Y.L.. I saw it when I was a child.
The scenario may be similar to Astro's story, but there is a fundamental difference: Daryl never was human, while Astro was. Even though Astro isn't meant to remember much from is human life, it changes a lot in the scenario in my opinion.

Wow, I remember watching that movie too.... I had forgotten about it.

I do not recall Astroboy being a human.

That's a cool coincidence! I was just thinking about that movie last week and decided to download it. I'm going to watch it tonight and thought I'd check the boards first. I thought it was really cool as a kid. I agree that it was probably partly inspired by astroboy. There's a lot of common ideas in the two shows. I don't think DARYL's got anything on astro tho.
