An interesting article. They could always program in a "safe" mode that turns a gun toating track-bot into a kitten.

Robot warfare is the future of mankind...
With jaded western populations turning into thugs and gangstas and hedonists, robot soldiers are the only way these countries can defend themselves. All real research into this field is classified "Ultra secret."
The Japanese lead the world in walking killbot design! The U.S. is pouring it's money into flying killbots! But the real money is in Naval robot ships and boats. Remote and autonomous.
Robots have already slain thousands of men...

That is a future that i truly wish would not happen. Robots should only be used for the good of mankind and womankind.

graming. For example, KillingTrue, but killing is something a robot could do out of the nessecary programing. For example, Killing because its master ordered it to, or harming those it has been told to protect because it tried to stop them. A killbot is even worse, a thing deisgned to kill? Are we getting so lazy we dont want to kill each other in person? I feel both overjoyed and offended by the thought.

Hi Ryo- I believe, know killing is wrong and using robots to kill is a form of stupidity. Robots should be a tool to help mankind, not harm humanity. I wish all humanity would learn the true value of human life.

The survival of Japan will depend upon them taking care of their own national defense. This defense will require Robot troops and armor and ships and drones and planes...

Sorry, my last reply got cut up....Im not saying that eventually we wont be able to pacify robots and tech them right, I just feel kinda offended being killed by a robot. I didnt do a thing to them...Of course, robots are still great, I just dont think millitary use is really using them to their fully potential. They should live side by side with us. Bsides Japan's an island nation, attacking an Island can get difficult without assulauting the surrounding countries. They dont really need a army or navy, even one as cool as a robot one
