From the very start, Tezuka placed Atom's story in the 21st century.

Thanks Jeffbert, i was referring how they were advertising his show back in 2003. From what i seen and heard they were saying he was not powerful enough for the children to be interested in him now. I was but apparently many children were not, and i believe those children missed a pretty good action series, your friend, praying you the best, Toni

Oh, I completely misread your post! As far as American children are concerned, it is obvious that they were not too interested in the story. I think it has something to do with parenting in the USA; it is day - night different now than when I was a kid. Unfortunately, this goes into polotical things, which we have banned on the forum. :D
