Project Skipper the Robot Kid

After two years of drawing a certain comic (along with seven years of drawing comics and eleven years of drawing in total), I've reached the point where the quality of what I draw may be able to go professional. So, I've decided to send a letter to DiC Entertainment pitching my seires...then again, is it too early? But here are the model sheets, albeit I haven't yet cleaned them up and put on the character bios.

Image

Here's the premise. A boy named Skipper gets hit by a car (yeah, I know what you're thinking. Tobio) and has to get robotic parts inside him to keep him alive. He receives a suit of light fighting armour...

Image

...goes on a few adventures, then discovers two robots...

Image
Image

...Robby and his sister A.M.I. (or Ami), whose parents/creators have disappeared or been murdered by a rival "roboticist" Xavier. They meet Dr. Sarai Mizuno, a woman who looks suspiciously like their mother they barely remember. Skip gets dragged into this and tries to help the two take down Xavier's company RRE and find their father while going on more adventures...

Image

...and Skip gets his own little robot sidekick named Bunny2000. She has a radio.
Now, everybody! Characters without little info blocks have their own model sheets.

And here's an RRE logo I made one day.

So, what do you guys think? If anybody wants, I can put up the rest of the sheets.

Thanks Fauna hope your idea is accepted by DIC Entertainment, the story sounds interesting. Casper had a comic book series that imitated his story kinda- " Timmy the timid Ghost". Your story would be a better class than the Casper's imitation was.

Glad to see you guys like my stuff! I'm just starting the DiC letter, and I hope to get it finished before school restarts.

I've even got about fifteen episodes either written or planned out. My main worry is that some of the episodes may be too scary. There's one where A.M.I.'s memory disc is taken out and put in an older robot, then she has all her original memories blocked off and is sent to destroy Robby. Suddenly, all her original memories come back, she realizes that Xavier's NOT her father, and it turns out she has a bomb in her chest cavity...
My other worry was that I wanted a guy from a band to come over and play the character Jonathon, but I heard the band's latest music and it seemed that his voice got softer and quieter. ಠ_ಠ

Also, from the road:

Please Fauna wonder if you could have Astroboy in your stories? Thanks and hugs

I couldn't legally do that, but back when I was doing the webcomic, I cameoed Acetyline Lamp as a villain, and briefly put Astro in a movie poster in the background. But there was a cut scene that planned long ago and I would love to put in the final animation:

Robby: Now, here's a little trick I learned from Astro Boy!
[Cut to Ochanimizu, Uran and Tenma staring]
ALL: ASTRO BOY?!
[Cut back to fight. Robby fires his arm cannons and foot jets all at once, seperating the sides of the berserk robot]

I should sketch it down sometime. :whistling:

Thanks Fauna, love to see that sketch and those three staring that would be a classic from Astroboy. hugs
