Yellowstone quakes

Looks like the bulge under Yellowstone Lake is giving people the heevee jeevees. So far from last Friday to today there's been 169 quakes, nothing more than a 3.3 but anytime the Yellowstone Caldera shows indigestion, everyone goes bug eyed.

The last time the old supervolcano blew up was 620,000 years ago. Imagine Mount St Hellens 1000 times and that's Yellowstone!

But they say these little swarms are actually good things if they stay small and don't last a month or more.

Yes yes.
We all know about the yellowstone supervolcanoe theory. St Helens relived alot of the pressue in the Cascades system. But the Geyser park accounts for a lot of that shaking. Crack in the world was a mediocre movie at best. I was not all that impressed with it when I saw it as a child.
"10.5" was a ripoff of crack in the world. I'm thinking more along the lines of "Atlantis the Lost Continent."
