Now, if they had cloths & skin on it, it would not so so funny, but as it is-- :p

Creepy in a cool kind of way. Its a real pity they didn't put the skin over the whole body, perhaps a few more years and they will. Thats when it becomes very scary for some people, at the moment it is little more than a lab test.

"Dr Movellan added that the production of a robot with a "complete mind" could be just 10 years away."

It would be very interesting to see he is even close to the truth.

It is not only a question of technology, but of psychology; as we still do not fully understand the the mind, & likely never will.

Well. I don't really like his "complete mind" idea. But having a robot that can convincingly react to humans is an important step, and seeing they have already made functional tech is a good sign, I would be happy seeing a robot that just responds logically, being able to hold an logical conversation with a machine is great.

And to respond to the skynet comment, I think a terminator is more realistic, given the real looking skin. An real life governator would absolutely great.
We could see their tech being included in future computer software though. Allowing for a skynet program to be created.
