I learned a lot from Kung Fu.

There's no need to go into the details of what happened to David Carradine but despite that I must say I learned alot in life from that 1970's show Kung Fu. My late brother Steven was an ardent fan and because of that show he joined the Marines in the 1970's and served honorably in Asia till he left as a staff sergent in the late 80's.
Kung Fu was our first exposure to the Asian culture at a time when we both lived in Boston when it was a hot bed of racial hate between whites, blacks and newly arriving refugees fleeing communist murdery in Southeast Asia. Steven pursued the Asian way of thinking and in turn influenced me towards my Navy career and long association with our Japanese friends.
Despite what may be said in the end about David Carradine, his part in Kung Fu will hopefully be what's remembered best.
