CD Japan sent me an update to its services, which now include access to Japanese manga, including Tezuka's via an English language interface.

I just paid 300Y (just over $3) for three manga tickets; 1 I spent on a 48 hour access to Triton vol 1. While I cannot read Japanese, I can follow the action through the images fairly well. (3 tickets can purchase 1 year's access to this title, & I assume other Tezuka titles.)

Here is the main page (in English):

There are about 160 series/titles available; I 'read' Melmo just a while ago, & although it was only 1 volume, I found it quite interesting, since I had seen the TV series a few years ago. I have 1 ticket left, I have yet to decide which title to view.

Neither can I, but I can see the manga I would otherwise have missed completely. As I said, the GUI (graphical user interface) is in English, so you can at least know what you are getting and for how much $.
