Well I just got my copies of Dragonball 1-2, and I thought I'd warn anybody thinking of buying this. They are very good but not complete. I had to go and buy the "Saga series in order to see the fate of General Black!
And those DVD's are over 20 bucks a piece!

But I have got to have them all!

I thought the only difference was that those went by saga while these went by season. So you are saying that episodes were omitted from the seasonal boxed sets, not just that a story started in season 1 was not finished until season 2?

Aren't they in the process of doing a revised version?

You can't see the end of an cycle without buying the next season. And season 3 is not yet out. The Sagas are the same way. Some of the Sagas are not available anymore and the ued copies are like 50 bucks or more!

I bought 1 from an Amazon seller, & no way did I pay $50!

I admit, some sets are quite expensive. Unfortunately NF has not yet released pt 1 of Piccolo, so the fact that pt 2 is availble is of little consolation.

BTW, what extras are on the season by season sets?

I'll have to goe back! I don't see any elaborate extras
