I just saw this movie i must say it brought tears to my eyes , its a real good movie and i suggest to everyone but not if you cannot stand drama

Brilliant is a word that doesn't give it justice. Graves is a total heartbreaker from the start. Children, no matter what side they were on, always suffer in war.
If you haven't seen Barefoot Gen yet, that's another one that just bites hard. It's a close biography of the manga artist who created it. Imagine surviving the bomb at Hiroshima by a mere chance and a few inches.

true true i saw the two first movies of Barefoot Gen and I saw it.

I got grave of the fireflies years ago. Loved the film, really made me cry but I didn't like the lack of action *wasn't like spirited away*. However the drama was emotional ;_;
