I predict i'll get very few or even no answers to this topic because the forum members are mainly form Usa and Canada and I know North Americans don't care about soccer, but I try to propose it the same, so:

Who do you think willi win the Cup?
Here is my analysis: the are three big favourites, which are Spain, England and Argentina (Argentina has by far the best team but their trainer, Maradona, not only is a really "extravagant" man but he is at his first experience as coach). Then I think there are possible candidates such as Germany, Holland, Brasil. Then we have the outsiders: Portugal, Cameroon, Chile, Uruguay, Usa (this team has increased his skills in an impressive way and has very good players such as Dempsey and captain Donovan), Italy (it won in 2006 but now this team is a huddle of too old and young but dramatically overrated players. I put it here cause we always have plenty of luck in this competition).

I actually wasn't aware England where a big favourite, i thought everyone was expecting us to loose? Or is that just me being cynical? DX

But yeaaahhh I'm not expecting England to get anywhere, although if i said that out loud i'd probubally get lynched (I live in england if no one had already guessed.)

As for who's gonna win... I don't know.
I'm interested to see what Germany can do actually, since there is a statistic that said no country has won Eurovision and the World Cup on the same year. I'm wondering if they can break that rule or weither it'll stand true.

HI- HOPE the United State CAN pull off the same thing in the soccer world cup 2010 that the hockey team did in 1980 that i heard about- heard some music advertising ESPN COVERAGE OF the world cup soccer 2010 and everytime i do i melt- must be my female emotions or something

A great many members come from Australia, but I don't know how popular football is there.

I live in Europe where it is much more popular, but personally I don't care about anyway

I love to root for the underdog- afraid the United States is that in this soccer tournament- so like APRIL said- USA! USA! USA!- love to cheerlead them if i could to victory

1:1 -- so the USA is coming along!! With all the kids taking soccer, in a decade it should be as big as baseball or football, don't you think?

I don't really like soccer. I got dragged along to matches while my brother played (was so boooooooooored! :cry

But if I could guess who'd win...i'd vote USA for two reasons.

I want Engand to lose so i stop hearing outside my window "COME ON ENGLAND"
