Here is another step toward cyborgs becoming reality:

GIZMAG: Biosynthetic corneas restore vision to humans 8/25/2010

I do not know if they actually can make an eye sensitive to infrared, as is featured in the $6,000,000 man (anyone remember this series?), but I was denied LASIK because one of my corneas had a density flaw, so I certainly can appreciate this particular development!

Oh yes! Bio cyborgs on the way! But how about direct projection of movies and info into the optic nerve or brain?
