A friend of mine is hosting an online anthology of Black Jack fan works (the actual word I should be using is "doujinshi", which still means "fan comic"), and the deadline is getting pretty close, but I wanted to see if anyone here was interested in joining.

The main quality guidelines are for any comics submitted to be solely in black and white, cleanly scanned and all text centred within the speech bubbles. Here's the complete rules and guidelines.

I've got a four-page comic (unfortunately still in progress) to submit fairly soon, and maybe some 4koma. If anyone here is interested in joining, get something in by October 31st! (And please, mind the guidelines!)

Sounds like a very nice project, if i was a pro at drawing and a die hard fan of Jack i'd jump in to do some doujinshi. =3

I'm teaching myself to draw manga with a book that shows you how to draw. its in korean but the illustrations speak for themselves

The online doujinshi is now open! Only Maiyeng, Daeva, Ingrid and I made anything like an actual comic, but I feel a little honoured with my story in with them all. (You'll probably recognize my art; I have a loop-eyed, Western style.)

Of course, go ahead! I'm just happy to see someone excited about the doujinshi.

YAY! HUG! HUGGGLES! I like good doujinshi, i know i sound picky about art but you have admit if done well doujinshi looks good with a great story.
