Discussion of Terminator movies

Postby Ghost » 14 years ago

Well, I'm pretty sure most people here have seen the Terminator movies. Now these movies have pretty much nothing in common with Astro Boy, only thing they have in common is they're both robots. As of the time I'm making this post I was watching Terminator 3 on FX. Now the Terminator movies were very good action flics. I do think that these were the best things that Arnold Schwarzenegger made, in my opinion he's not that good at acting. But unlike Astro, his character doesn't have kokorro and is pretty bland. So he was perfect for the role; OJ Simpson was originally going to play the Terminator in the first film but Schwarzenegger auditioned at the last minute and his performance was better than OJ's. Now the first movie was a classic, my personal favorite was Terminator 2. Schwarzenegger had more of a role in this movie and the relationship with John was very heartwarming. (and the liquid metal terminator was pretty sick) I've never seen the Sara Connor chronicles, but I didn't like Terminator 3 that much. Salvation wasn't that great either but it was better than Terminator 3 in my opinion. Would anyone like to share their opinions or any thoughts of the Terminator series? (I'm not really sure if I would compare Terminator with Astro. There is a big difference between the two, but they're both robots. I think that's the only thing they have in common.)

I can't add anything to this discussion because I haven't seen those movies. I am still interested in reading what others have to say. Interestingly, I stumbled on some Terminator actors biographies on IMDB just an hour ago. :lol:

GhostATR, if I may, your posts would be a lot easier to read if you splitted them into paragraphs. Fortunately, you have always used proper punctuation and your sentences aren't a mile long, so that helps, but it would really make reading easier if there were more paragraphs. :astro:

I do that when I'm typing them but they come out in one big paragraph. It's kind of annoying I'm not sure if it's a setting or what.

Never heard of such a problem before. If it's a setting, I don't think it's vBulletin. It would be interesting to see what happens when you post on another forum.

@Ghost - try typing an extra "return" between each paragraph before you copy and paste it into your message. I have that trouble with MS Word sometimes. It can be a pain.

Terminator = awesomeness :p

I'm one of those people that is interested in all things science fiction. When one shows up, I just go and watch it (often on the web) and by the end Im nearly always satisfied. And the ending for Terminator 2 was one of the best I've seen.

I've been looking for Terminator 3 for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages now...

I actually had a problem like that recently, but I didn't think much of it, nor did anyone else (probably because it wasn't very long)

I've seen every terminator movie and I have to say that I liked Terminator 2 the best and Terminator Salvation the least. And yeah, the ending to T2 was awesome.
