Lord of War: A GOOD Nicolas Cage movie

Well, by now I'm sure almost all of you know Nicolas Cage as the person who voiced Dr.Tenma in 09 Astro Boy movie. Now Nicolas Cage has been in A LOT of bad movies.




However I found a movie that was made a few years ago that Cage starred in that actually looks pretty good.

Lord of War


Now I have not seen this movie and I'm thinking about giving it a look. As far as I know Cage does not go off on a crazy rampage. Cage is known for going totally bat s**t crazy in movies, which is what he's best at. Here is an example.


Now in Lord of War he is playing an arms dealer and it discusses the issues of war and the problems with being an arms dealer. This movie looks good on the eyes and it appears to have a good plot.

one of the things that caught my attention to this film was the really good into. The camera follows a bullet from its creation off of an assembly line all the way to it's use in combat.

So the question is, is this a Nicolas Cage movie that is actually good? If so please tell me in this thread. Because I didn't like him as Tenma, and so did many people. But I haven't seen him in a good movie in a while. Try to refrain from spoiling the movie.

I agree he didn't so well as being Tenma,i've thought that they get the guy who did the dub for him in the 03 sereis XD he had a HOT voice that was to die for (i'm a girl so )

Please try not to go off topic. I'm asking if the movie Lord of War is a good movie or not. This isn't about the Astro Boy movie, I just mentioned it. If you don't have anything to contribute then shut up.

i've asked people about it and some say that they didn't like it and i saw the trailer didn't like it either and from what i read on wiki it sounds like a bad graphic video game storline so i give it a "BAD"

I guess that makes sense. But I think this movie is suppose to show why war is bad, why being an arms dealer can be a bad thing. I don't think this film was meant to promote war or violence.

Well naturaly the peace and leftwing media bosses don't like anything to do with weapons sales! No one does, unless you need a weapon like those poor souls trapped in that church in Rwanda and don't have one...
Cage makes unpopular movies that needed to be made sometimes. Ghost rider aside.
