Countdown to Black Jack Volume 13

Postby Xenops » 14 years ago

Looks like the final release date is January 25, 2011, since Amazon has not changed it recently. :p So let's hope the best and have a countdown!

The French hardcovers are also taking an awfully long time. All the more aggravating to me considering I want to read the stories in chronological order, meaning I wouldn't even start with volume 1. It is taking so long in fact that volume 1 has already gone out of print if Amazon France is any indication, and I bought a copy just in time even though I won't read it before a while...

Ah, so the covers do depict a kind of gore. I guess I just never noticed before from all of the small cover previews.

Dororo much? <_<

Pretty much. :p

@Jerk, I would say there is more gore here than in Dororo, but I have only read the first volume of such.

Oh I realize that, I was just reminded of Dororo's cover, that's all.

Anyone have a favorite BJ story they would like to discuss?

Even though I've never read Black Jack or this particular chapter, I've always been somewhat interested by "Weak-Willed Shirano".

Primarily because Shirano is supposed to be another Ochanomizu actor, which I'm actually a big fan of, and it's pretty much the only instance where Ochy has been given a first name.

That chapter is supposedly in the next volume, I think.

It must be, because I haven't come across it in the previous 12 volumes.

Here's a crossover comic:

Also, if anyone happens to find the fan-made comic where Pinoko tells a kid in the waiting room" I'm a teratoid cystoma", please send it my way, since I saw it once and never saw it again.
