Well for my 16th birthday I went to see the movie Black Swan.

Let me tell you, that was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. They took something girly like ballerina and made it into something intense and twisted. It had beauty, drama, creepiness all in one film.

This movie I think was a masterpiece. However I do not recommend young kids watching this movie. Reason being that it had some explicit sexual content and some parts were a bit graphic.

But regardless it is still a very good film and I highly recommend people seeing it.

I read about the entire thing on wikipedia, and it does indeed seem very intense.

It's also rarely ever advertised, I think I've only seen commercials of it twice. My family has an old saying, if a movie is rarely ever advertised, then it is good movie.

Dude trust me she was amazing in this. I hated her in the star wars prequels though.

Cool, will watch it tomorrow. She was also terrible in V for Vendetta even though the movie itself rocked

@Ghost

You're really lucky, I wanted to see that ever since I saw the first commercial.

I want to watch that movie and I will without even going to the theaters ;)

Here are some of the movies that are showing in theaters that I can download to my itouch:

This is a movie I waited a year for and it did not disappoint. I also agree it was my favorite of the year. Darren Aronofsky is my favorite living direction and all his movies I loved immensely, except for Pi. Requiem for a Dream (one of my all-time favorites), The Fountain, The Wrestler, Black Swan, they're all amazing.

Anyone knew he also had the remake rights for the anime "Perfect Blue"? He used them to copy shot-perfectly a certain scene of a girl screaming her frustration while her face was underwater in her bathtub, for the movie Requiem for a Dream. However, the entire movie Black Swan seems like an homage to Perfect Blue as well, that I'm disappointed Satoshi Kon, who died recently, was not thanked in the credits.
