I had hoped to see the 3D version today, but it slipped my mind. I have 2 CAPTAIN ACTION GREEN HORNET anniversary figures, & thought I could get a decent price selling them on eBay, but it seems that many others have thought the same thing.

Well I went and saw the 3D version. And there are complaints about the film being converted to 3D,but I thought the 3D enhanced the film.
Of course the new Kato will be compared to Bruce Lee but Bruce used no cables or animation efx so it's not really valid. But it was cool....
In fact I thought the humour was a bit Hollywood. But it works! Kato is of course the straight guy to Reids dork clown, it works.

I only know about The Green Hornet from that film about Bruce Lee. Honestly I got no interest in seeing it, but the think the guy who plays Bruce Lee looks cool. =3

I just saw it; & I could have waited for the DVD, as there were only a few things I thought that merited 3D. I thought the plot was poor; the DA being corrupt, Brit Reid being a bozo, Kato, a genius. But I did enjoy the thing, as it was, I guess, typical of an action film. If given the choice of seeing 3D TRON free, & paying $9 to see THE GREEN HORNET 3D or no, I would choose the latter.

Yeah it was passable. I don't think I would sit through it 3-4 times. But it was passable.

I went to the movie on Saturday, and honestly, I only liked Jay Chou's Kato, a few of the jokes (like the Swiss Army Knife one) and the final fight scene - I actually left the theatre shaking because of that scene. Hooooooly crap, son. So intense.

Other than that, it was a good movie, but not really worth watching over and over again.

I'm a huge Green Hornet fan and though I really enjoyed the insane humor and the chaos of the film, I was disappointed they made Britt Reid a silly guy. In the 1966 TV series he was very sophisticated. In the 1940s radio drama he was very sophisticated and witty too. Oh well. I also saw it in 3D but... like some of you said already, 3D was like... where is the 3D? I did nearly swoon over the action in the film. Every time Britt donned the Hornet persona I was nearly giggling all the time. I just can't HELP it! Sad that for people who don't know about the character, the 2011 film is what they'll think he was always like.

I am going to borrow the serials from NetFlix. I think I would enjoy the radio programs, but I can hardly sit still for radio drama lately, because I am so active when listening to music.

Best 66 episode IMO -- 21: Bad Bet On A 459-Silent, because Britt gets shot in the shoulder. It was more interesting for him to suffer and still be the Hornet in that one. Be prepared for next to no plot line or context in the whole series. That's the disappointing thing about many of the 60s superhero TV series ... snazzy dialog and no character development. I think that, and that the Green Hornet isn't well-known in the superhero community, is why the new movie had little to no real plot either. No one knew where or how to develop it.

The OTR.org radio series's audio quality is somewhat bad. I just listen because I'm a die-hard fan.

NF just sent the 1st disc of the serials yesterday; I watched only the 1st segment, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Keye Luke as Kato (Master Po of TV's KUNG FU) merely chopped a guy on the shoulder, but I expect there should be more martial arts, though nothing to compare with the TV version & Bruce Lee as Kato.

Encore Action channel ran the TV version several years ago, but I really do not recall and martial arts, though I watched it regularly.
