Medium Length Manga

I'm interested in drawing/writing a manga/graphic novel series, and I'm interested doing one about the length of Death Note or Urasawa's Pluto. A lot of the most popular series are super long, and lots of unknowns are really short. Can you think of manga series that are about 8-12 volumes long? The only other one I can think is Tezuka's Buddha.
