I mean we are all neurotic just a bit. How can you be an artist and not be? It's no insult meant. We are boys and girls how can we communicate? Interface?
Some of the people here are Genius level writers and artists. Genius level. Writing Astroboy and Sci Fi stories like it was a thing of Naught. If I say you have done nothing wrong and are not a loser And you have no reason to down yourself that's what I mean. I am talking to Artists and writers not just people.
I hope everyone here can understand that.
The best thing for an Artist is to be Neurotic and even to be thought Crazy like Dali is just fine! In the east Village, in Paris and especially Hollywood!
But if you beat on yourself and put yourself down, someone needs to show some LOVE

I'm one of the few who understand what you're talking about as I've seen two posts you've made about someone who seemed neurotic to you. No harm done then, since it was hopefully not mean on your part. But making yourself so hard to understand all the time sure is causing lots of issues.

I don't know! To me, it's just misunderstanding. Guys rapping to one another. Yearning for understanding. These guys in here are genius level people. Wirters. Artists are often always at the edge of their nerves. And this collision is to be expected. If we don't Bulletc each other we will collide and thats a good thing for writers and artists. Maybe not for kids, but for people that can write the scenarios and storylines you guys come up with,I want to collide with you, currycomb your thoughts your persona. I can write a little. But I need to interface with world class neurotics! In an East Village context or a left bank of Paris context. But we are the Robots!

Yup, I'm neurotic, I'm an artist, I'm married to a neurotic artist -- but it's those 'rough edges' that allow us to think outside the box and I'll bet Dr. Tezuka was as neurotic as any of us. C'mon -- a trained MD chucking it all to draw manga?

Yes I've never known an Artist or Celeb that was not. And I think we're Neurotic because we are born Half male and half female.

Of course! Where I come from the greatest compliment you can give an artist or writer is to say they are neurotic! Spiderman was the first neurotic super hero! The Thing from FF is a perfect example. But that's The golden age of Marvel... And the Secret of Stan Lee's sucess. He made all his super heroes Neurotic! Full of contradictions and angst. Broadway... If you're not neurotic you can't be anything in Showbiz or the art world. Spiderman was so miserable! His life was a mess! Tony Stark was even worse! But Captain america was the absolute worse! Anachronism incarnate! Out of time and space. Lost! Prince Namor the submarinerwas a bum in the gutter for years!
Take poor Elton John. His new movie about the gnomes had to be Girl Boy or he could not get it made... There he is.
But I guess Woody is the king.
