For my language art class this semester we had to do book reports. This particular book report we were to do a biography or autobiography, so I chose to do my book report on the book The Art of Osamu Tezuka, God of Manga, which I got for my 15th birthday last summer. I told about his life, key works, and that he created many anime manga genre, and the popular style that was used now in most modern day manga and anime. Mr. Clegg loved it and gave me an A+. :D I'm so happy!

Yay! Good job. I'm glad your teacher is open to Japanese entertainment, because some people are like, "what is that?

Aw thank you guys. It's so nice to hear such good things. I knew that book would come in handy someday. LOL! Anime is really popular with kids at my school, but not many people know what the first anime series was, although a few of my friends knew who Astro Boy is. My class really enjoyed it. I was soooo nervous to give the report, but I really pulled it off. :)
