This 3-part video was a presentation done back in December 2009 on Osamu Tezuka and his life, presented by Central Saint Martins, which is an art college in the United Kingdom. Not everything about Tezuka is covered, but there is a lot of history that's talked about in this presentation. This presentation mainly focuses on his manga work; his work on the anime he did is briefly mentioned. All three parts combined are almost 73 minutes long, so if you're interested in watching this, it will take you a while to do so.

As a newbie to the Tezuka world, I found these videos to be quite interesting. I don't think I will read or watch ALL of his works, but after watching this, I am now more interested in reading or watching some of his other works.

Here are all three parts for viewing:

Part 1 - Presentation Part 1

Part 2 - Presentation Part 2

Part 3 - Q&A

This was an excellent presentation!! I recommend everyone check it out!!! It's a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse of his body of work, and his personality - you come away in awe and with more respect then you already had! THANKS FOR POSTING THE LINKS!!

Says in the description box on the videos that it took place on December 2, 2009, so "fairly new" is probably the right description.
