OH MAN, STAND BACK EVERYBODY. EXPERT COMING IN.A bit of background data...the NOW! Comics series ran from 1987 to 1989, using three writers (Michael Dimpsey, Ken Steacy and Brian Thomas) and two artists (Ken Steacy and Brian Thomas), although the characters were bought unfairly from the old licensors of the 1960's anime. So, basically, Osamu Tezuka never knew the series existed, and it's a good thing, since the story and art fluctuate in quality so much that it's entertaining.
See here for a directory of reviews. I wrote in-depth pages for each of the issues...I swear, it took me from 2007 to 2011 to collect the whole set and write about them all.
If you're interested in reading the series, I actually have the entire comic
scanned and available for free on Photobucket! I was thinking of putting the whole thing in a ZIP file on MegaUpload, but all together it would be 200 MB, and that's too much space for these things.
As well, if you have any questions at all about the series, I'll be glad to answer them. I spent a bit of time working undercover for extra information, even going as far as contacting Brian Thomas (and trying to contact Ken Steacy).
