There has been a rumor that toonami maybe returning. They say it will be called neotoonami. What do people think of it?

NeoToonami is just an online fan project, so it's not coming back officially on Cartoon Network or anything.

My thoughts? Well, I think it's great that there are fans out there that are dedicated-enough fans to make a "new" Toonami like this. I say all the best to them.

As for the official Toonami, I think it ran its course. To have it revived officially would be, in my opinion, not a good idea. Cartoon Network has changed too much for a programming block like Toonami to come back on the air on its channel.

Toonami is a programming block that aired on Cartoon Network from 1997 to 2008. The block aired shows such as anime (mainly shōnen) and American action cartoons. The American dub of the 2003 Astro Boy anime was one of those shows.

I hated it when they got rid of Toonami, it was my place to find anime on tv :cry:

most American cartoons are just fart jokes and stupid nonsense now.
