Chat thread - part XXXII (please read the first post + post 399!)

Hello,
I would like to make a few suggestions... I think it's cool to have a thread where people don't have to stick to a particular topic, however when I read these chat threads, I see a lot of "hello? hello! hello!!!" and a lot of repetitions of the same sentences...
By now there are only 3 to 4 users participating, and let's face it, even if anyone else wants to join the conversation, it's very difficult to do so.
How about trying to go more straight to the point? Post when you have at least a sentence to share, a question or something... This could become a place where members could share what happened to them on a particular day, for example.
Another suggestion: intead of being like "hello, somebody here?", why don't you just all make yourselves visible? It's contradictory to make yourself invisible and then use the topic to search for each others, don't you think?
For now the topic will remain "Chat thread ___", but I would like to see what happens with these suggestions, and then perhaps for the next one I'll find a new name.
I realize my suggestions may surprise you, but I'm thinking that perhaps all the members could benefit from this, including the regular participants in the past chat topics. Wouldn't we all benefit from getting more interactions with each others?
