Dear fellow users, I am in need of your help with dubbing, as this sad emoticon will express my sheer desperation.

An idea for a parody has been knocking about inside my skull for the last couple months to a video game based on Journey to the West. I got a few ideas of where I want to go with it, but I haven't written or planned anything solid yet because I need voice actors for it. And not just any voice actors. Forgive for how this might sound but...

I NEED MEN! Image Manly sounding men to be exact to play the parts.

See there are these three main characters, one of which I'll be voicing. But being the chick I am, I can't deepen my voice convincingly enough to save my life. So is there anybody that wants to try it out? You'll get to be a star :tezuka: well, on youtube anyway ^^

The two characters I need voices for is a Monkey and a Pig :hyo:
Clicky here for the scene featuring the pair! ^^

So, ish there any men manly enough to take on the challenge? Image Pretty please?

If I were to offer my help just how exactly would I be able to contribute seeing as I live far away from you in Australia?

o____o ermmm...

You know that thing called the internet that's been around for about 20 years or so now? yeah  through that.

And how it would is really just sending the script and the video file that needs dubbing. It's not that hard a process since the only thing that's needed is the voices to be in sync when the character's lips move, and there would be subtitles on the video file to help. But all that's really needed at the end of it is just the audio. So yeah it's a process of 'record your lines, send it via e-mail and I edit into the video*

It saves time ^^ and there's no need to book a flight :hyo:

Ohhhh MightyAstro could be a very cool voice - he's an Aussie you know!!

Although he recently spent time in the US - so he might be able do a Texas drawl for y'all!!

Thank you April. But I don't think I could do Texan very well quite yet. Also though I was born and bred down under my accent is remarkably much more English than Australian. Everybody who I met in Texas commented on that. My accent seems to have been genetically inherited through my family ancestry. It can happen sometimes.

As for your dub littleacorn I'm considering that I may be able to give it a go if I can figure out voicemail. Perhaps I could do it through Skype if you have an account? I don't know if I'd meet your requirements, but I certainly could try.
