Hi guys,

It's wifey bragging time!! My husband, Steve (also a geek in the very best sense of the word!) just finished this project for one of his clients - it's now up on their site, and I'm really proud of the outcome  (I sure can't draw like that!)

Now here's where Astro ties into this -- when I saw the "illo" I immediately thought of Astro's jets -and could envision all this happening inside of his legs - EXCEPT - where would the AIR intake occur? Maybe he flies with his MOUTH OPEN :w00t: Maybe there are tiny air intake vents all over his body??

A new puzzle to solve!

:astro: Good luck! Only Dr. T knows for sure . . . and I DON'T mean Tenma!

I know I'm like, super late to reply, but I have not been able to read the whole forum in the past days (I blame snow and ice for that... :shifty: ).

I absolutely love the animation! :D

So true about the air; as if we hadn't found yet enough technical impossibilities with Astro!

He would probably need holes to the side of his legs or something, but then it would look strange...

o.o That's impressive animation on jets, your hubby has done a good job on this ^^

Although he should've added the Astro Boy 80's theme tune just for fun XD

OMG that would be PERFECT!!

If I could find a from-the-side screencap of Astro in flight, I'd superimpose the cutaway on top of his leg! It could be an educational piece!! :p

Here's the assignment he finished this morning - ironically I just finished watching the 1980's episode with the anti-proton gun that could blow up asteroids and planets . . . well looky at this: it's laser blows up Martian rocks and analyzes their composition!! Science fiction has become reality!!
